Save Ontario Place Campaign Joins the “May Day of Action”

May 1 is International Worker’s Day. It is also the “May Day of Action”, and members of Occupy Toronto and No One is Illegal have organized a march and a rally to protest the inequities exacted by the one per cent against the 99 per cent.

Supporters to keep Ontario Place a public space will be there. This is a vital moment to gain more supporters, gather petition signatures, and disseminate information about the campaign.

Location:        Nathan Phillips Square

100 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON, M5H 2N2

Time:              4 pm.

March to:        Alexandra Park, Bathurst and Dundas Street, Toronto

Please join us in the march! We’ll be the folks with a large, heart-shaped Save Ontario Place placard, and will welcome your assistance to hand out information and gather signatures for the petition.
